Course outline
Module 1 — Airway assessment
Anatomy review and predictors of a difficult airway.
Module 2 — Basic airway techniques
Head-tilt/chin-lift, jaw thrust, and oral/nasal airway adjuncts.
Module 3 — Advanced devices
Supraglottic airways, bag-valve-mask, and suction technique.
Module 4 — Airway emergencies
Obstruction, aspiration risk and escalation pathways.
Assessment & certification
Manikin-based skills test. Successful candidates receive their QR-verified DIMS certificate.
