Module 1 — Trauma assessment principles
Kinematics of injury and the PHTLS primary/secondary assessment sequence.
Module 2 — Haemorrhage & airway control
Tourniquets, wound packing, and airway management in trauma.
Module 3 — Shock, chest & abdominal trauma
Recognition and field management of shock and thoracoabdominal injuries.
Module 4 — Spinal care & transport decisions
Current spinal motion restriction evidence and scene-time decision making.
Assessment & certification
Scenario testing stations. Successful candidates receive their QR-verified DIMS certificate.
